A feminine dress reaching down to the feet and tied around the waist and breast is also a TUNICA. Maidens wore simple tunics that were slightly shorter. The longer tunic covering the ankles and shoulders was called Stola and was worn by married women. The dress is fastened on the shoulders with a brooch.
